Todd
has been practicing law since 1991. He has successfully litigated
personal injury, liability, insurance, coverage, health, life,
disability and ERISA cases before state and federal courts
in Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, West
Virginia, Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Florida.
As Notes Editor of the Capital University Law Review, he wrote
an article in 1988 that was later republished by Open Court
Publishing in an anthology featuring such noted scholars as
William F. Buckley, Milton Friedman and William Bennett. He
has substantial experience at the trial and appellate level,
and has successfully argued Brown v. Seitz Foods, Inc. Disability
Benefit Plan, 140 F.3d 1198 (8th Cir. 1998) and Bond v. Cerner
Corporation, 309 F. 3d 1064 (8th Cir. 2002). Todd has served
as faculty member for several seminars in the areas of ERISA
and insurance law. He was selected by National Business Institute
to author and present a program entitled Insurance Coverage
in Ohio. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal
courts of Ohio, all federal courts in Michigan, all federal courts in Indiana, all state
courts of North Carolina, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals,
the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eighth Circuit Court
of Appeals, the Western District of Wisconsin, the Northern
District of Texas and the District of Colorado. He is a member
of DRI, the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar
Association.
